Top expert on electrical safety in medical devices, Jack Voorbrood, joins Qserve Group

To further strengthen its fast growing team of experts and increasing presence in Europe, US and China, Qserve is happy to welcome Jack Voorbrood to its team. Jack brings 18 years of professional experience as test engineer of electro medical equipment and systems to the Qserve Group.
Jack has worked as senior project engineer at the test laboratory of UL as well as test engineer at Kingston test laboratories, both in the Netherlands. In these successive roles he gained much experience in key standards such as IEC 60601-1 on medical electrical equipment (including the IEC 60601-1 - xx and IEC 60601-2-xx series), ISO 14971 on risk management to medical devices, IEC 62366 on usability engineering to medical devices and IEC 62304 on medical device software. In that capacity he gained experience with both smaller devices (blood heater, infusion fluid heater, ECG monitor, patient tables, heating blankets, etc.) as well as large capital equipment (e.g. MRI, X-ray).
Before joining the TIC industry, Jack worked for 10 years at the Holland Telecommunications Company as R&D engineer.
