Interview with Qserve's consultant Nadira Salah
1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
My background is Biomedical Engineering, and I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Technology Engineering from Aarhus University, Denmark. After graduating, I spent 3 years working for a healthcare company in Denmark, which specialized in software for patient logistics. Eventually, I completed my master’s in biomedical engineering in Glasgow. I am currently finishing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on tissue engineering (In Vitro tissue models).
2. What does an average workday look like?
It is never the same. Currently, I’m working with Quality Affairs related issues (mainly helping customers with their audits & quality management system), but I also assist with technical files and other projects, as needed. Part of my continuous training is consulting with my mentors and seeking input from senior-level colleagues. I also regularly schedule onsite visits with my clients.
3. How would you describe your experience as a Quality Assurance Consultant at Qserve so far?
The first few months were intense, because there was so much to learn. My work is very challenging, and no two days are the same. What I really enjoy is being a part of this team. I know that we have a positive influence on the work that we do. I have the freedom to fully develop myself in specific areas that are of interest to me. Qserve is a company that is really growing, and it is very motivating to be a part of that growth!
4. What is your specialization?
My specialization is QMS (ISO 13485).
5. What is your area of interest?
I really like working within QA and project management. I would like to work with more regulatory projects in the future.
6. What do you hope to contribute to the team?
With my biomedical engineering background, I hope to add value to my team and use the knowledge I have gained thus far in a collaborative manner, ultimately serving our clients at the highest level of satisfaction.
