Transparency and Coordination - The New Quality Mantra
The MDR 2017/745 strives to improve transparency and coordination between EU countries by implementing a European database and requiring the use of unique device identifiers. The implications of this new regulation suggest that there should be new members included on cross-functional quality teams. What will these teams look like and what are the new skills that are required? This presentation will review the aspects of the MDR that will affect vigilance, post market surveillance and unique device identification, with a focus on the team member skill sets required to get the job done right.
